Checkmate
I have great news to share today. I have found the location where we will cast this masterpiece of a video, the rumors are true, the day will shine from the mear fact that we have made a conclusion on the whereabouts of next time gem. I think it’s obvious why I don’t plan on sharing this location with the public, it’s because this location is too much for you to handle, it is far too powerful! In reality it’s not that much, we just agreed to a place that fits the scheme and plays the role, it’s nothing special, I bet you could find one of these about anywhere around the world, unless your in Australia, they don’t do that… Anyways we can finally film somewhere and I am happy about this information, since location was one of the harder things we had to complete, and it can be hard at making up your mind. Location is a highly important attribute to your video, as it display a lot emotion, plot, and specific details, even those few words don’t cover the overall impact a location has on you. Big productions don’t seem to have this problem though, you might be thinking oh it a “skill issue”, or you’re just indecisive, but they legitimately take months and sometimes up to years to find a good location, people actually work in the field of location spotting, but these people are going out of jobs because most movies are done with fully CGI locations and backgrounds, “It ain’t like they used to make it” - somebody’s Grandpa.
Also I would like to redirect your attention for a moment to show my lack of actualy good writing, I’m currently on my phone and I’m just not used to that, and it’s hard for me to see the text (why did they make the text on mobile so small😭), and I will find who ever did this and make them suffer the same way they made me suffer. Anyways! I’m very pleased to present the update on my CGI progression, terrible, it’s just awful, I just cannot recreate that school hallway fluorescent lighting type of effect, I have no idea why but I spent an entire day just trying to make it work, but it just doesn't want to. Another thing is that I was able to either find, or create all the needed items in the film, and I was successful as most, and I was able to get all the part working correctly. But a side effect of CGi, I need to track the environment, and how do I track the environment when it’s so dark it is virtual impossible to track anything, Presenting, Ball on a stick, it is a brand new invention of mine. You grab a ping ping ball or two, then you find some sort of time that light but is able to glow, and then you put it on a stick, walala bobs your uncle, it works shocking well, if you use about 5 your results are about as ok as it can get without destroying the set of a bunch of balls. But for the lighting phenomenon, I’ll attempt to change either my software to one where I can load some sort of presets and not have to make entire new one by my self, or follow a YouTube tutorial, but my software is still kinda of kinky so I’ll end up changing it anyways for the video editing process. But it’s only a matter of time before we start filming the this absolute emerald gem of a film. Also I would like to address the fact that I sometimes transition between the two terms, film, and video.
I do that because it’s a film and a video, it’s a trailer to an entire movie, and the song it’s a part of a video, of just the music, it was made years ago, no judgement in sight. Anyways one again I will speak about the sacred schedule of the blood sacrifice to the gods of video please work, holy crab 🦀 I swear if you don’t work I don’t know what I’ll do. But our schedule is yet undecided due to the facts that we both don’t know when we’re available where we both can drive to a location for a hour or so and film a video. But keep in mind we also have to setup the camera in a certain angle, a certain lighting, a certain weather, oh and don’t forget those wonders of sticks as they will serve ass the #1 and only way of using CGI within this film at all. There is alot to go over and that I can verify, it might take up to more than an hour, but we can always come back later, also remember that there are multiple location for us to go to, not just a singular place and that’s 10/10 confetti, sorry but not today, maybe another time and another day but not this day. But really you do need to keep in mind if that this schedule doesn't get figured out the video will not work, because there is no footage to cover, there is no storyboard to compare to, the footage is everything, and schedules are footage, and this goes for every single film and video out there, maybe not in the 40s where if you owed the mob they would take you hostage and force you to work a film against your will, because films were very profitable at the time.
But that will conclude this blogger for now. I wanted to make this longer but my eyes actualy hurt from looking at a small screen, and reading the most microscopic text there is, so I’ll end it off here, lick, subcrib, and turn the battle bell on.
Peace
